11:40 (538 km) Drove to lookout over the lakes. Drove to Bairnsdale Fun Park.
12:16 (569 km) Bairnsdale Fun Park. Had rolls for lunch. Did archery, mini golf, bungie trampoline, hook the ring on the bull, go karts, skittles, quoits, swimming. On bungie trampoline, CK landed on head and felt nauseous and neck ache. Lots of mosquitoes around the trees.

11:00 (480 km) Buchan. Caught up with Cunninghams.
12:00 Tour of the Royal Cave. $78. Fantastic speleothems.
13:00 Finished tour. Lunch of sandwiches at swimming pool. Pool had freezing water from caves.

18:00 Dinner of tuna bake. Swim in caravan site pool.

11:15 Thunderbird cruise, $130 for 7 people. Went to Metung and back. Met lady whose father used to live across the water from Metung and had to row a boat to school in Metung.
12:30 Check out BBQs in the area.

17:30 Met up with Alan to go to BBQ at Lion's Park. Kids got hurt at playground.

10:00 Beach. Body board surfing. Sand castle building. Kite flying.
12:00 Go back for lunch.
16:00 (352 km) Leave for Metung.
16:30 (377 km) Metung. Small boating town. Tried fishing but no bites. Went back to Lakes Entrance.
17:30 (404 km) Lakes Entrance fishing near the bridge to Bullock Island. Someone was catching lots of fish, but not us. Saw crabs, fish, jelly fish, seahorse. Dinner of fish and chips.
20:00 Back to caravan site.

16:30 Fishing at Bullock Island. Caught one fish.
18:30 Cook dinner - noodles with mince pork.

13:30 (122 km) Stopped at Yarragon for lunch.
16:40 (321 km) Arrived at Lakes Entrance. Found that we had a flat tyre. Went to first petrol station and the person was not very helpful. Went around to Woolworths petrol and the person was much friendlier. However, there were police in attendance and we got breathalysed. Pumped up the tyre and then went to the caravan park.
17:00 (324 km) Silver Sands Tourist Park. Set up annex as well. Quite a big job.
19:00 Dinner of pasta bolognese.
